Three hundred of O.C.’s savviest divas and dudes helped ratchet up the sass for the grand opening of SAS’ new salon in Costa Mesa. A red carpet led guests into the hip shop, where they mixed and mingled with other lock lovers, like Monica and Mike Ruggieri, the duo behind the destination. They also sipped Champagne and signature cocktails, noshed on nibbles from Bayside Restaurant and explored the space, which boasts chic designs created by Lois Ichiki of Barclay Butera and graphics from Jovenville. All that got guests securing a few shampoo and styling sessions at
the salon—a sure sign of its future success.
